Sites
The Sites Actionalytic is an essential tool for organisations, designed to categorise and manage assets based on their assigned locations or sites. This system offers a comprehensive overview of assets across various locations, enhancing accountability and streamlining management processes.
The approach ensures that assets are organised and easily retrievable based on their geographical placement and key benefits include efficient asset management and improved accountability. By categorising assets by location, it simplifies the organisation and retrieval of location-specific information, facilitating better tracking and targeted management strategies.
What: The Sites Actionalytic categorises assets based on their assigned locations or sites.
Why: The Sites Actionalytic is for organisations to efficiently manage assets by providing overview of their different locations, enhancing accountability, and streamlining processes.
How: The Sites Actionalytic operates by identifying assets through a data feed source like AD or SCCM, initially placing them in the unallocated collection. Subsequently, administrators assign these assets to the appropriate collections based on their respective locations.
Benefits
Sites Actionalytic ensures assets are grouped based on location.
Efficient Asset Management: The Sites Actionalytic streamlines asset organisation by categorising them based on their geographical locations. This enhances the efficiency of asset management and facilitates quick retrieval of location-specific information.
Improved Accountability: By grouping assets into collections according to their sites, the Actionalytic promotes accountability. This structure allows organizations to better track assets, understand their distribution across different locations, and implement targeted management strategies.

Tombstone
The Tombstone Actionalytic is designed to address the issue of unused devices within an organisation. By engaging with end users whose devices have been inactive, this system either brings the devices back into service or disables them, thereby enhancing security and resource efficiency.
In many organisations, up to 30% of devices remain unused due to poor processes for handling leavers, stock control, loan devices, break-fix issues, and deployments. These unused devices not only represent wasted resources but also pose significant security risks.
What: The Tombstone Actionalytic engages end users who have unused devices and either returns them to service or disables them.
Why: Organisations can have as many as 30% of their devices unused. This is generally caused by poor processes for Leavers, Stock control, Loan devices, Break-fix, and Deployments. Devices are, therefore, wasted and present a significant security risk.
How: The automated process engages with the end users and asks them to either log on to the device or return it. If neither is done, then the device is disabled.

Benefits
Key benefits include reclaiming up to 15% of an organisation's device estate, leading to substantial cost savings. For instance, in an estate with 5,000 laptops, this can save approximately £500,000. Additionally, the system mitigates security risks by ensuring that devices offline for extended periods do not return to the network unmanaged and unpatched, thus preventing potential virus outbreaks like Wannacry.
How It Works
The Tombstoning process directly engages users of devices that have been off the network for 30 days, operating through a systematic workflow.
Offline for 30 Days: The end-user receives a task to either use the device, return it, state it is not theirs, or provide a valid reason for its inactivity.
Offline for 60 Days: A reminder email is sent if no action has been taken.
Offline for 70 Days: The user is notified that the asset has been tombstoned, and the device is disabled in Active Directory and marked as tombstoned in the CMDB.
There is also an exception group for assets such as test, training, and VIP assets that will be permanently ignored by the Tombstone process.
Stock
The Stock Actionalytic is an essential for organisations aiming to efficiently manage their assets by categorising them based on assigned stockrooms. This system provides a comprehensive overview of assets across different stockrooms, enhancing accountability and streamlining asset management processes.
It works by identifying assets through data sources such as AD or SCCM, initially placing them in an unallocated collection. Administrators then assign these assets to the appropriate collections according to their specific stockrooms. It means assets are organised and easily retrievable based on their stockroom location.
