  How It Works 

The process of identifying and removing unused software involves tracking the activity status of all assets: 
Data Collection: ClearVisibility tracks the ‘heartbeat’ of all assets using data from the main management system (such as SCCM), supplemented by Active Directory and Antivirus reports. 
Identifying Unused Devices: Devices not connected to the network for 30 days are marked as Not Live, and associated software is excluded from the inventory.
